A Bed Liner That Protects Your Ford Truck Bed

It doesn’t matter if you own a  F 150, F250 Super Duty, or the F 350 Super duty ,choosing a new plastic bed liner for your Ford truck bed makes for an interesting project. That’s true because the bed liners have some things about them that make it possible to damage a bed with the liner instead of protecting the bed. That could cause more harm than you could ever guess would happen. Here are a few things to think about.

Plugged drain holes under a bed liner spell trouble. A plugged drain hole is bad enough any time but if it happens under a liner you might not ever know If that condition persists over time it’s almost for sure going to be an expensive problem. That’s why the liner should be designed so it won’t trap water. Also the bed liner should be easy to remove if you need to inspect operation of the drains and making sure there not plugged up.

The heavy plastic used to make liners is almost impossible to damage. That means for really hard use the plastic option is among the best. Impact damage is one expensive repair if you had to shell out the money to fix that damage you would not be happy.

But be careful because there is a way that the bed paint can disappear out of your truck bed so make sure that you get a bed liner that fits right a custom fit bed liner like a dualliner bed liner is a great way to make sure that your bed paint won’t disappear on you. Otherwise the wind whipping by the liner starts a vibration. That movement of the liner leads certainly to friction and wear of the underlying paint. Wear the paint away and the liner just did more harm than good. Especially coupled with water under the liner, friction damage starts and corrosion happens and the next thing will be rust and that could be the end of your truck bed.

There are a few alternatives to the typical plastic one size fits all bed liners.

A multiple piece liner and or a custom fit liner can fix all of these problems. That way the liner can be made to fit the bed more closely and made to drain easier too. Make sure the liner you pick for your truck is a good fit and make sure it won’t trap water. Check to be sure the liner is the right fit to avoid water damage and noise. A Dualliner bed liner combines the advantages of a 3/8” thick zero skid rubber truck bed mat with tough plastic side walls the dualliner bed liner is not like the typical drop in bed liner it is made to with stand anything you can put in your truck bed. The dualliner will keep your truck bed looking new and your paint looking fresh for years to come.

Is the DualLiner as Tough as Your Ford?

Ford F250 - This truck needs a DualLiner Truck bed liner Built Ford tough, that really has a ring to it. Ford has got a whole lot of history in the USA, all the way back from the model T up to some of the toughest pick ups on the market today I love FORD.

If you buy a Ford F150, F250, F350, F450 or a Raptor you are going to pay upwards of $20,000, well worth the price if you ask me. So you are going to want to protect that investment. First thing when I buy a new truck is buying a bed liner. Bed liners are probably the most important aftermarket truck accessory you could buy for your pick-up. Your truck is built Ford tough, you need a bed liner that can stand up and be as tough as your rig and the cargo you are going to be hauling.

Spray-ons and drop ins are alright, I’ve had both in the past being that I buy a new or nearly new truck every two or so years, but what really protects your truck’s bed the best? Believe me when I say that if your cargo slides around in your bed when you are driving around town, you are going to end up with damage. I have recently come across the DualLiner truck bed liner and I love it. DualLiner is the best bedliner that I have ever owned, and for less than $400 with a lifetime warranty, how can you go wrong.

The DualLiner truck bed liner is a 5 piece bed liner, which is basically a combination of a drop-in and a rubber mat. DualLiner took the best features of the drop in bed liner, which is its dent resistance, and combined it with a zero skid rubber mat to hold your cargo in place. It’s 5 piece design keeps the bed liner fitting and in place so there will be no damage to your nice factory Ford truck bed.

Don’t be fooled by the competition, a spray on installer such as line-x is actually going to scuff sand and grind your truck bed before they adhere their product to your truck’s bed. I don’t know about you, but I’m not letting anyone take a go at my Ford truck with a grinder.
